Ok n00b question... I already have one set of RCA jacks used on my head unit for my sub amp. Im adding a 4 channel amp to run my speakers but there is only 1 more set of rca jacks on my H/U. Is there an adaptor or something at walmart that i can get to run both sets of RCA's to my H/U? What is it called? Thanks

Does either amp have a pass-through ?
Not sure what u mean by a pass through. My mono amp (which is already hooked up ) has 1 set of "line in" and 1 set of "line out". The "line out" on the mono amp is not being used right now. My 4 channel amp (not yet hooked up) has 2 sets of "line in" and one set of "line out". On my 4 channel do i send ch 1 and 2 rca's from "line in" to the HU and then channels 3 and 4 rca's from the 2nd set of "line in" to the "line out" on the mono amp? Hope i didnt confuse ya. Confused myself a lil //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

The set of RCA's you're using for the sub amp now - are they a dedicated sub-out from the headunit or just the rear/front channel?

If they're not dedicated sub outputs, run them & the other RCA's to your 4ch. Then run the output from the 4ch to the sub amp. Very likely that your fader will now adjust your sub amp too, if so be sure to adjust accordingly.

Good luck! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif:greedy:

Seems you've lost touch with what it's like to be male...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The inputs on the amp are female, there are 4 of them. He has two male outputs on the rca run from the deck to the amp. Those 2 males need 2 female inputs ==> 4 male outputs plugged to the 4 female inputs on the amp.

you need to plug in 1 male to the back of the deck to make each one now have 2 females. check your penis, you may have lost it.

Oooh, sharp comeback.

I see where you're getting your idea from tho. That requires 4 channels of RCA run to the amp from the deck - why not just split at the amp off a single RCA run from the deck? Simpler, cheaper, fewer parts to buy.

you like that comeback:cool: i see what you're saying. just seems like kind of a mess in the cab. i like to hide as much as possible behind the deck.

Great, now you 2 knuckleheads have confused me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
