What do I need to power...

A set of 5in Polk db501's (45 RMS)

and

a set of Audiobahn 3.5in speakers? (60RMS)

Do I need a separate amp? A 4 channel, right? Can some explain to me why i need or if I need to do this and a 4 channel is correct, right?

Or if I get a headunit that runs 50Wx4 will that be enough?

If both speakers are 4 ohm, I'd say from the sounds of it a good head unit will be plenty.

I just ordered a Clarion VRX775VD which runs 19W x 4channels. That is not enough, or is it?

Run them off the head unit. If you're satisfied with the sound, keep it, and you saved yourself the money and hassle of buying the amp, power+ground wires, and RCA's. If not, pick up a 4 channel amp and a Knu wiring kit. Provided you know you're not gonna upgrade, 8ga would be fine since you're only going to have a max ~50rms amp anyway.
