what do everyone here drive?

im not sure about neons but sometimes it depends on how your car is limited.... some cars are drag limited (meaning not enough power to go faster) some cars are plainly speed limited (once you go a certain speed, it backs off automatically) and if the rpms does not change within a couple of seconds, thats as fast as you're gonna go.... unless you go downhill or a big tailwind hehehe jkjk

What about 84-88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupes then? 2.3 MPFI Turbo I4. 190HP at the wheels bone stock.

This little car has 2 less cylinders than your "girlie" 6 cyl cars, and has been known to regularly out perform many 5.0, 5.7 Fords and Chevy's respectively.

On the other hand- I wouldnt be so quick to judge the 6cyl equipped birds/stangs as totally useless. There is a lot one can do to them to make tremendous ammounts of power. Remember, one of the fastest OEM Production cars carried a V6.

The Buick Grand National.

take it easy,

ahhh, but it was not a naturally aspirated 6.....

you can strap a turbo onto almost anything and get a ton of power...

forced induction is like breast augmentation sugery... sure it can have great results, but those that are TRULY great don't need it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

EDIT - Speilling

Wonderbread is totally right. You can do jsut about anything, to any car and at least hop it's performance up somewhat. I have a '94 Lexus ES300 and after some Mod's I've made I can hit 0-60 in under 6 seconds. Not to bad for a stock Toyota engine w/some mods. I can honestly say that I've beat some 6-cylinder Camaros, tied one 8-cylinder, and I'm blown away about 2 mustangs. I've only been beaten by an insanely souped up Accord, old 60's or 70's Camaro (not to familar with them), and a tricked out '90 mustang. I've also gotten it up to about 130 before it tried to get loose on me; probably could have gotten 10 more MPH out of it though it I wasn't scared of wrecking. Have fun with it guys. Peace, James
