what direction for sub?

Hi all,

I've a Civic hatchback and a 10inch type r in a closed box.

The sub is in the rear of the car facing towards the rear....just wondering if there's any advantage to directing the face of the sub up....or even into the rear of the seats?

in hatch sub up is often the best. i would not recommend facing the seats.

i have a civic hatch with woofer up port up.

Usually for hatches you face sub up port up, suvs are sub up port back and cars are sub back port to the side or back

Sub rear or up, I prefer rear.

Try it both ways, see what sounds better.
