What could be wrong here?

Ok well when my gf's amp blew, just for fun I decided to put her 12 in my car just to see how it would sound. I left the the JBLs in the garage. Well the 12 was alright but I heard more rattles than bass. So I put the JBLs back in. But now ever since then I have just been hearing a lot more rattles than bass. Just about any freaking song will rattle. Ive tried listening to where they come from, I kno its the rear somewhere. Could switching the subs really have created new rattles? This is pretty weird. The only thing I did to the amp was turn down the gains because it was too much for the 12. Then I turned them back up for the JBLs. Didnt use the DMM though

yea i really dont want to deaden it any more. But i guess thats the only solution. Its just pretty gay how rattles came from no where. I so wish I should have bought a hatchback from the beggining.........

You probably just turned the gain a little higher than you did before. Even a little bit could jump your voltage enough to cause them to rattle instead of just play. Try backing it down bit by bit till the rattling stops.

yea. Well I did turn down my xover and bass boost. The bass boost wasnt even that high but i turned it down all the way. Plus put xover lower. I couldnt test it out thought because it was ****ing freezing out there and I really couldnt see shit. I'll have to wait until tommorow.
