on-axis means pointing right at you... off-axis means not pointing right at you.axis???
dont laugh but whats that mean
well what will i need to run active and for my first set of comps should i go active or passiveyup, nice powerful, active front stages with no rear fill. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
well if i mount them in the a pillar they would be facing the windshiled only way i could do iton-axis means pointing right at you... off-axis means not pointing right at you.
going active isn't THAT hard but you still have to know certain things. and you'll need either a hu capable of doing it or an external processor to control it. its easier all from the HU.well what will i need to run active and for my first set of comps should i go active or passive
make pods for themwell if i mount them in the a pillar they would be facing the windshiled only way i could do it
fiberglass for the podshow would i make pods for them
ohh and whats a good hu i can go active with
yea i'm not into fiberglass either. i did a little ghetto work with hot glue to get my left tweeter on-axis. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifwell i was looking at the 9887 or the pioneer d3 because i want a 2din with nav
and for the pods seems like too much time and work i am not too expereicend with glass
can i have your moneyHere is the set i run in my Saleen nothing fancy....8" German made /MB Quarts..with image dynamics mini horns through an active trunkmount eq crossover....![]()
well i carry alot of people with me and in the back they will have 2 12's l7's right inbetween of them so i figued i need some rear fill and i personally like rear fill
because this is how my setup will be its a f150 king ranch with bucket seats so i am taking out the rear console and getting a custom made ported box to fit inplace of the console inbetween the rear seats so it might be necessary for some rear fill
i will prob by 2 sets of comps and not hook up the tweeters for the rear unless its necessary
so would the A pillar be a good spot to mount tweeters
