what component 6.5's too buy?

Mb quart was sold to maxsonic (hifonics) and the quality is just not what it used to be, i had the new mb comps and was really unhappy with how they sounded, i loved the older mb's from a few years ago but i would avoid the new mb line

i am currently using the low line of cdt audio comps and love the way they sound, very good mdbass, detailed mids and very smoooooth silk tweeters

Do some research on the speakers below and you should love the way they sound, they are higher cdt comps then i have and they should sound out of this world

Just a quick interjection-

I wouldn't run the tweeters for a second set of components in the back, or in the front. I would probably just run the rear midbass drivers if it were my truck, and have the whole component set up front still.

This being said, I also personally would avoid MB Quart. It's one company with a sound that people either love or hate, and unless you have listened to them and fall into the love category I wouldn't blindly buy. Go to a couple shops and audition some speakers. Diamond Audio, JL Audio, Focal all make great speakers that you should have no problem finding a dealer for in your area. Listen to some, and keep in mind that you can buy them online for about half of the price in the store, but you will lose the warranty.

As far as rear speakers go, unless you frequently have rear passengers I would consider not running them at all, and putting your money in the fronts for the time being and possibly add them down the road. I'm not running rear speakers in my GTI.

I love the way your bashing them...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif In all honesty yes they were bought, But they still are made at the MB quart warehouse in Germany and will never change. Buying a company out is really nothing, they just pay for your supplies, etc. MB is still the same and always will be, they are just now owned. That does not mean Maxxsonics is producing them:crying:
