Quite A Sweet Difference:)

Hey All! After alot of thought , questions, and reserch of course lol, I changed my front stage. Without the use of componants, it is very sweet. I put a set of Polk momo's 6.5 coax's. These suckers are Clean, but with a fuller more natural sound. I actuall think they are louder than my kappa's were. All in all i am very pleased with the results. i think is was what I was looking for and had not found yet! Woo! Hoo!

Front Stage: Polk Momo 6.5 coax

Rear Fill Doors: Alpine 6.5 type S coax

Rear Stage: Alpine 6x9 type S coax

Speaker Amp: Infinity 7541 4 channel 140 x 4 RMS at 2 ohms

Sub Amp: Directed Audio 600 watt 2 channel (bridged)

Sub: 1 12' Alpine Type E in ported Q-logic box ( Audio Assasin 12' comming soon)

your fronts or 6x9s are highpassed? i assume the 6x9s. if so, i would low pass those 6x9s and have them only play midbass, or just take them out completely.

i hate coaxials never heard a set that impressed me yet... i'd much prefer comps

I guess thats all fine and well but not everyone can or wants to spend a butt load of money on comps. I know they are nice but I am very happy with these polks. I got them at American T.V. And Electronics in O'Fallon, Il. You can also get these momo's at Crutchfield. If your want clean its a nice ticket!
