i was taking a look at some of the other brands and comparing the prices. i like the audison lrx, price is good and it looks hella sexy. would u guys take any other ones over the lrx? if so which ones?

Well not to sound like a dick or anything but................ Crystal SSCS components aren't exactly the best SQ components yet you want to amp them with 2-3x worth the components....... I would upgrade components first with that much $$. YOu already have a diamond amp, you would see a better difference by spending your money on better components rather than a better amp upgrading from Diamond...........

actually, to tell u the truth, the sscs with the diamond amp sounds way better than alot of the expensive components out there. way better than the brands that cost 3 times as much. like mb quarts, focal, jl, alpine, and yes, i herd all of them. for what i payed for them, im really happy. i aint gonna change them, as they sound really really good, and i would highly recomend them. i just want a better amp. ( one that most people dont hear about. ) i do have the rainbow germaniums, but im holding on to them for now. i might even sell them. the way my sscs sounds, i dont think i need the germaniums right now. besides, i think the audison lrx would look even more sexy next to my i.a. 20.1

lol, u guys are right, they are not the best sq components, but they do sound like they are. i payed 160 for them and they sound like 500 components. so like i said i dont need to change them, i just want to know what compares to the audison amp. if there is another amp that is just like the audison lrx but cheaper, than i might think about getting it. if not, ill just nuy the audison.

thx konechiwa. i was thinking the same thing. as for u other guys, i already said that i wasnt gonna let my sscs go. did u guys ever here them? they are far better than most other high priced brands. as for the alpine and germaniums, they do sound hella good, but i personally think that my sscs sounds way better than the alpine. the only thing that makes the alpine stand out, is that its bi-ampable. the germaniums i have, but i might sell them. but please guys, we are talking about amps here, not components.

Anyways, you're not going to get much audible difference just by switching amps... We've all tried telling you that the biggest difference you'll get is to switch out those Crystals for something else, that and/or make sure no detail with the install is skimped on or overlooked.

What is it exactly that you like about the Audison that you are wanting our suggestion to "compare" with?

And what is it exactly that you are wanting to switch amplifiers for?

Size?

Features?

Power output?

Looks?

Build quality?

Sundown and Zed Audio are great options.

Arc's Kar series of amps are a little less mainstream and should still be within your budget.

If you want something more mainstream yet a little off the beaten path; Millionbuy has the RF 25 to Life amplifiers on sale. Basically same boards as a few of the Punch amplifiers but in a much prettier heatsink that many people in your area probably aren't going to own; plus they make well over their rated power (intentionally under rated).

Memphis makes solid amps aswell and aren't overly mainstream.

I guess it just depends on what in particular you are looking for.

yes, i do know that the germs are bi-amp components. i do own a set. and as far as what im looking for in other amps as to compare with the audison?, wel squak9798 hit the bulls eye with that. im basically looking for an amp with all of the above. lol. i9m fixed on getting the audison, but like i said, if there is something else out there that can compare to it and that is cheaper, i might change my mind.
