What can we do to bring the "audio" back into Caraudio.com?

Or, rather, make it more prevalent? Obviously the Dome has been receiving a much greater portion of traffic this past year, and I have heard more than a few complaints about the lack of audio related things. What I haven't heard is any solutions...

Build logs are something we can wish for, but not something that we can really make more of (I mean, we can, but it's easier said than done). I think we need more threads like the "old school collectors" thread, some more "what's your favorite?" threads, and some more threads that are sticky-worthy to help out the noobs. I honestly cannot think of anything else at the moment, that's why I'm posting this thread. I will gladly do my part to increase the non-Dome traffic, as long as I have the support of the rest of the forum members.

And yes, this is posted in the General Audio section, and for two reasons: It is technically audio related, and most importantly, rules over off-topic and trolling can be enforced here. Lets get serious for once and pool together ideas to better the experience on this website.

I'm not saying that we can make the audio sections more popular than the Dome, just that we need to make them more popular in general. You are correct, the Dome will always reign supreme as far as traffic goes

What I, personally, would like to see is more media, more pictures and videos. But with a video section that is hidden under the Thunderdome, it is often overlooked. That is why I don't bother posting videos on here, just on CACO, my videos get no replies on here.

agreed. its usually the people that like to have fun in the thunderdome that travel there the most. but maybe since all those people will be weeded out the ninjas will travel there once more

Good point...I browse the front page rather than each individual section, but I can see where you're coming from. I will suggest this to the big boys and see if we can't get a video section in the audio section (sounds like a contradiction lol)

To be honest, I don't like these threads anymore because they are all the same. DC this vs. Sundown that. RE this versus FI that. It's always the same equipment, and Sundown SA always seems to be the answer (sorry Denim, just being honest! It's not a bad thing for you lol). I wish we had more threads about unique equipment. That's what keeps me in the audio section of the website.

Right, I hate those threads too. But the problem lies within that: nothing new is happening in car audio. New products aren't being released every day.

Dylan, I know you have seen my videos of the Optidrives that I post on Facebook, and I know they are a different product compared to what people usually use. But I don't bother posting them because I know no one will see them.
