What can Goob do to make this site better

Interesting observation as I read through all the suggestions it seemed like 99% of them pertained to the dome........I thought this was a car audio site where people came to learn, share ideas, builds, etc....

That doesn't seem to be the focus of the majority of the members and that is what needs to be addressed. This is a car audio site, not just recess time in the dome as that won't attract many new members, attract vendors, or keep the knowledgeable guys around.

The dome has it's place for sure, but this is supposed to be CA.com not ClusterF.com and unfortunately that's what I watched it turn into as the "dome" mentality spilled over into EVERY other section on the forum...

Maybe most of the suggestions here pertained to the dome, but the vast majority of changes in rules and policy lately have pertained to the tech sections and classifieds. Your concerns over the t-dome spilling over too much into the other sections of this site is shared by myself and most/all the other staff members here. We are working to make the tech sections and classifieds more serious, friendly, and on-topic.

I believe that is intended to discourage people from taking actions that will get them temp-banned. Maybe if a 3-7 day time out isn't enough discouragement, cutting into their oh so precious post count will. I agree Id prefer a method that does not remove content from the site though, so if you or anyone has a good idea, please post it up.

Idk, the only thing I can think of is longer bans...if 3-7 days doesn't stop them then start making them like 10-15 days? I got nothin...

That's understandable but I can't imagine you have to go back that far...usually it's caught immediately, you could just delete posts from like the past 3 days and still get it all...

Yes but no one wants to lose their posts, maybe that will be more of a deterrent.

Also I'm thinking about doing sponsored forums on a side note.
