What Batteries? 12v 14v 16v?

I will eventually get a agm for my car since my system will need one. Could someone tell me about 12v, 14v, 16v. I have no idea what ones are used for what and such. Please help.

Do you wanna spend the money to run 14v or 16v??? 12v is the standard. If you wanna run 14/16v then you'll need a new alt to start

Ya see thats the thing my car ***** and they only custom altr for it are $600, since its a toyota.

I would just run a good 12, the higher voltage could potentially put a strain on your electrical system in the recharge phase.

As far as brands go what do you reccomend, I probably go with a 1200max amp battery

I use Kinetik in my vehicle but XS is also very good, just a little more pricey
