what banks do you guys use?

Try a local bank? I go through Farmers, which is local and not very many of them and has always treated me nice and never had one problem ever.

Wife has BOA and the same shit happens to her from time to time, but you call and they fix it.......so it is a hassle, but don't see why you couldn't get your money back. I keep trying to switch her, but she is stubborn as hell.

Been with my bank for 20 plus years, lol! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I do have another back for my savings.......two savings FTW! Saving for a house FTL! I use first place bank, which is well respected around here. Only been with them a few years.

I would definitely recommend a regional bank or a credit union (if you can get into one). Look at their websites, check interest rates, check available locations, atms...do your homework. Narrow it down to a few you really like and then go visit them. Tell them you're interested in switching from a national bank. Ask about their benefits. Pick the one you like the best.

I'm getting out of Bank of America as soon as I can. Most likely switching to Carolina First. National banks FTL.

I'm with Capital One on my check card and 2 credit cards and have never had a problem outta them.

I also have a checking/savings at Texans Credit Union as well. If you can find a Credit Union, thats the way to go..

If not, Chase would be my choice..

USAA, best bank evar. No fee's at all, they pay you back if an atm charges you a fee, cheap *** insurance, best customer service, ect... ect... Last christmas I actually got a call from USAA telling me someone had charged my account .03 cents, I was like, "umm, ok?" and they explained that people charge accounts a small amount of money to make sure the account is still active and then wait a few weeks before christmas before clearing it out knowing that it will have alot of cash. They cancelled my debit card and sent me a new one overnight fedex for free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif Also they work worldwide, which is a big plus.

USAA > *

Credit unions ftw. I have had mine for a few years now. I get great rates on loans, and have got every loan I have asked for. All the other "banks" I have used, wanted you to have collateral out the *** for just a basic car loan.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I had no credit, collateral, or cosigner and got 7k @ 6.5% , not the best, but not the worst either.
