What audio setup can I put in my escalade for $2000?

I have a 2000 escalade, and only have about $2000 to spend.

It has the stock audio setup. Delco and Bose.

I want an XM or Sirius ready head unit, that will allow me to piggy back the other satellite system so I can get both XM and Sirius.

I want a little more bass. I want better speakers.

So what headunit should I get? Subs? Speakers? Amp?

Im the biggest newb when it comes to audio stuff, but want something better in my daily driver. thanks

gotta start with the basics....you obviously looking for SQ (sound quality) over SPL ( sound pressure level) ?

alright really simple is SQ is sound quality how clean and clear the bass is......SPL would be how loud you get

well then subs id say you get and assasin 10 in a ported box...great SQ and not expensive so you can get yourself some really good speakers as well as all the headunit equiptment your going to need with all your satellitte radio needs...

can someone else help me here?

Eclipse Have good units

Upper End JVC's are nice

There is another type of "bass" that he missed. It's called SQL. It's basically a mix of SPL and SQ. Seems to be a very popular route, but then again its all up to the person listening to the music.
