I'm getting my dad this fishing rod he's had his eye on at his fave sporting goods store for awhile now.

He already has a fave reel so I don't think I need to do anything about that - just get the rod and then get Mom to get him out of the house for a few minutes so I can take the reel off of the rod it's currently attached to and put it on the new one.
