truf.The fuses are there to protect the car in every case. By the time amp fuses blow, the damage to the amp is already done. The fuses are there to isolate the internal short in the ampand keep it from getting hot enough to catch fire. The inline fuses do the same thing for the wire, but in every case the goal is to keep the car protected.
There's no magical number, that if the amperes goes above, the wire will "CATCH ON FIRE AND FCK YOUR ISH UP!!"So your are telling me that you put a fuse on all of you wire that is rated for the max amperage of said wire? If you wire is rated at say 300amps and your amplifier is rated for 200amps, your saying you run a 300amp fuse inline and then a 200amp fuse inline? Guess i just know that if you blow a fuse rated at less than the max of the cable your going to stop current flow.
