Capacitors serve a very important purpose. They take money out of your pocket and put it into the manufacturers.

OT but...

I've never heard a car audio capacitor blow up but I did hear a transformer half a block from my house go once during a terrible storm....sounded (and felt) like someone had set off a bomb closeby. It shook everything in my house and knocked a couple of pics off the wall.
