As stated before i have 2 kicker comp 10's and 2 memphis 10's(black and grey)

I am wanting to run all four off of one amp.

what size amp and style amp should i use??

any suggestions on specific amps???

I want them to SLAM just not blow lol

Yeah. Pick one or the other. I wouldn't do that. Know you want to just Slam em, but not a good idea.

I would go with 2 amps if your going to try to push 4 subs hard. You can do it with one though, it'd be about a grand new though

ok so what do you suggest i do misfit??

i have it running with two amps at the moment just but i plan on hooking up one more possibly two to run my 6x9's

im just curious and im trying to learn

IFFF i would trade 2 10's to were i have all 4 of the same 10's wich set should i keep

in another words wich set of 10's are better?? the memphis or the kicker comps???

what model memphis's are they?

This thread has FAIL written all over it. The first aforementioned problem is with the different model woofers. Absolute "No-No." Trying to run 4 of any subs will almost certainly require the amp to be at least 1 ohm stable (Probably lower). Your best option would be to either get 2 amps for the subs, or ditch/trade 2 of the subs. What I don't think that you realize is the fact that 2 subs can hit just as hard as 4 subs, as long as they are in the proper ENCLOSURE. Not saying that any of your subs are bad, but you can take the crappiest Funky Pup's and put them in a ported enclosure built to the woofers specifications, and you will be truly amazed at the sound quality from them.

OP, your Kicker Comps are likely 4 ohm svc. Please look them over to see if this is the case. If they are 4 ohm svc and you want to run 4 subs, buy two more of the Comps and a amp that's rated for 600 - 800 watts rms @ 1 ohm.

Problem solved...
