What amp would I need running active with HSK165XL

What amp would I need to get the full potential out of Hertz HSK165XL, I'm confused on the rms of the midbass driver and the tweeter.

120-150 per side. With a nice set like that. Maybe the b2 quatro bridged a hertz or audison amp. Or arc audio or zapco. Lots of choices

Active or passive? The passive crossovers are good for 250rms, that's the limiting factor. Active I ran 150 per mid and 75 per tweeter. I felt I could have went a bit higher.

This was a JL 450/4v2 active. Demo tune here. The sound quality tune tamed them a bit.

I have them running off of a kenwood 400xd, should I stop using them till I get a better amp? Yes i'm running active.

That amp should be fine for now. It's 50x4 right? With my SQ tune I'm guessing I gave them 75 and 25 according to the RTA runs. If the doors are not sealed up that's a must

sorry its a Kenwood Excelon XR400-4

75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (100 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)

If you turn the volume down you are technically under powering them. Even at rated rms 99% of the time they are underpowered
