What amp to run a pair of SSA Xcon's for daily open to any suggestions.

Looking for good 3500-4000rms amp. What are your guys thoughts on a Powerbass XA-4000D, any experience with em, do they do 4krms reliable etc. and would this be a better choice than the crescendo audio 3kw.

I think a few people replied on SSA. 2000 watts is plenty, don't feel you need 4000.

4000 is a death sentence to your ears for a daily drive. i have 1000 and i'm more then happy

The xa-4000d is an ok amp. I'd still get the crescendo though. More than enough power.

Id probably suggest if you have an upgraded alt a solid 3k with the gains set below audible clipping... its going to knock your head off..

there is alot of people that run 3000 + dail and never go to comps. what about a audioque amp?
