hey guys. I new to this forum and I have a few questions. I just got a nine.1 amp to power two diamond 12 d6(waiting on subs), a 400 watts mtx amp on my mids and highs(bosoton 6.5 in componets front/polks 6.5 momo coaxial in rear door) is this a good setup and would this much power put a strain on my electrical system. Oh yeah is this a good amp?

2 Dual 4 D6s will work nice with a 9.1,but even better with a D61500.1

just be aware that youll probly have too upgrade your alternator soon, just dont let you lights dim real bad for now so you dont ruin the alt you have now

For some ungodly reason maximas seem to have a really good electrical system.

I don't know why our 02 have a smaller alt, my 97 and 98 had 120alts....

pushed up to 1700RMS on my old cars with no visible dimming.

Right now i'm running near 1500RMs and absolutely no dimming on my 2002

factory battery, 2 gauge wire, 2 amps

It's just one of those things where you're going to have to hook up the audio system and see how your electrical system handles it. There are so many variables, that it's impossible for us to really say how well your car will handle it.

Hook it all up, see how it does. If your electrical system is struggling, come back and tell us how severe it is, and we can help you troubleshoot from there.

I would let u guys know how it is when i get everything hooked up. But UPS is taking their time. I think he got a flat tire.

got my subs and let me tell u. Its loud!!! I only got the amp turn up about 30%. I haven't check to see if the light were dimming or not but I will later tonite.

Well i checked to see if my lights would dim but they didnt. The only thing that dim was the inside lights in the dash. But I've seen aftermaket radios do that along, so I guess Im o.k.
