What amp to power this?

Selenium D220Ti 1" Titanium Horn Driver 8 Ohm 1-3/8"-18 264-270

Noticed it says 80 rms does that mean i need a amp that does around that at 4 0hms? only 1 channel right? Also is this a decent and cheap alternative to getting new door speakers and putting an amp on them? I just want to be able to hear the rest of the music over the bass because i currently have 2 12 inch aq sdc's and a 1500 watt amp and its just too much bass and not enough mids and highs. Also im not looking for clarity too much and i know i wont get it with this.

There's nothing wrong with in itself, it just does not suit your application. Thats not something you just put in your doors and play mids and highs from. Think of a DJ Speaker, with the big horn tweeter at the top of it...thats what that driver is used for. Meaning you will need to mount an entire horn assembly under your dash to run that, on an active crossover and add mids to your doors since those wont play down below about 1khz - 1.5khz.

Oh **** idk i see all these kids at my school blaring music with "selenium horns" so i thought it would be easy. They just lay them in the back of thier car lol not in the doors

I suppose, you COULD but its not something you'd want to do. I see all of the same stupid stuff on campus as well. But whenever someone listens to my car, whether they are sitting in it or standing beside it with the music playing, they commend me on having taken my time and set things up right and will come to me for advice to get their car setup over the dude over there who's blasting noise thats so unclear no one knows what song he's playing. People will constantly do stupid things in this hobby, no reason to follow them lol.

But, anyway, the money you were looking to spend on those could go towards a nice budget set of components...thats what I'd recommend looking into.

Ya i hear you. But honeslty iv'e dumped a lot of money into this and have better stuff to be saving for considering im going to college next year and stuff so i thought this would be an easy way out haha.

Just buy a nice inexpensive set of coaxials then and drop them in the doors on a small amp. Thats an easy way out.
