I have a custom rear deck built in my car, but because of my large ported enclosure for my tc epic 10 tuned to 30, I have very little room on the sides of the box to drop speakers. I am able to pub around 140ish RMS per each speaker, but i can't fit 6.5's, 6x9's, etc. and 5.25 is pushing it and not enough room to box the speakers in.

I found a nice, 4in component set, that is 55RMS, woofer + tweeter with crossover at 4ohm. My amp can do up to 140 @ 2ohm stable. I can also buy just the woofer, so I was thinking of running,

2, 4in woofers, + 1 tweeter on each side, which just fits to be boxed in. My question is,

Can I wire the 2, 4 inch 4ohm woofers parellel to a 2 ohm load, and connect them to the crossover which will have the tweeter connected, and attach the crossover to the amp like a normal setup?

No leave the rears out. Do better speakers up front for more bettererness.

As far as wiring, yes you can, why wouldn't you be able to?
