What amp to get?

I just ordered 2 kicker 12" cvr's on ebay and i cant decide what amp to get. I have a friend with a pretty new alpine M500 which is supposed to be 500 rms he wants $100 for, but i dont know if i should get that or a crunch P1800.4 peak watt amp instead for about the same price. Also the M500 said its only good to 2 ohm but i could be wrong but i thought i remember some one telling me the kickers can only go 4 ohm or 1 ohm? Do you think the M500 would last at 1 ohm?

What voice coil's are the kicker CVR's? That's the only way we can tell you what the final ohm load it. If you need a 1ohm load I would highly suggest getting a amp that is stable at 1ohm. You can normally find a good 1000rms amp in the classifieds on this site or on ebay for around $100-150. What's your budget for a amp?

My budget for a amp it up to $100-$125. I looked back at the ad for the subs and if im reading it correctly its 4 ohm coils.
