First off thanks to everyone who helped me with my first thread.Heres the latest scenario.

I just got back from buying my RD 1750.1 from ztaebevets, thanks Steve what a beauty she is!!!

Anyway, I came home to hook it up and be blown away..well the same problem NO BASS!!!I checked to see if the subs were in phase and they seem to be.Now heres where Im confused. This link shows how to hook up 2 Dual 4's for a 1 ohm load:

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42

Now heres the manual from Alpine, they dont show an option for hooking these up at 1 ohm.As far as I can tell they were hooked up for a 1 ohm load. The manual only shows hooking them up at 4 ohms.I want 1 ohm.

PLease, please, please help me!!This is getting a little frustrating and Im not sure where to go from here.

Hey Steve,

Actually I had everything in my car but I didnt think it was going to be a problem.

The amp powers up and I do get some bass, but the only way is to crank up all the volume and gains.Even then its super weak.

dont got the highpass filter turned on right? lol

and you sure you dont got em wired out of phase? you'd be amazed how much they wil cancel eachother out.. use a 9 volt battery to check...

sounds like your woofers are out of phase. make sure you have your +'s together and -'s together. As a test, disconnect one to see if its louder.

Use diagram 2 for 2ohms then tie both speakers together + to + and - to - that will give you the 1 ohm you want. it will be just like the first link.

Im using a Pioneer D3.As far as the HPF,do you mean on the HU or the amp?I have it turned off on the HU.

You guys are getting a little beyond my knowledge.Whats the SS filter and how do it check it?How do I check with a9 volt?

Heres another point of confusion for me.The amp has outputs for 2 subs.Should I use both of them or should I wire it like there is only 1 output?Does this make sense??
