what amp should i get?

I got a custom fiberglass trunk, with only a kicker l7, i had an earthquake amp but it blew on me, now im running my old 600 w kenwood that sucks. Anyone got a preference on what i should run my l7 on.. please let me know.. price range 400-500. Thanks
