What amp should i get?

I have 2 12" Kicker CVR Dual 4 ohm and i need a new amp, im 17 with no job so my price range is around $150 to $170. If it cost more I could save longer, but I'd like to get a new amp ASAP. Any suggestions?

I don't know the ratings on those subs but for you price range find out the wattage you need and get any brand name amp (class d) that will do 1 ohm. best place to look is the classified section.

Are they the newer silver ones or the older grey cones with black dust caps? I have the older ones, dual 4. Those subs will actually get pretty loud off lower power. You can easily find something to power those up in that price range. Cheap budget amp that comes to mind is one that is said on the forum alot lately, the audiopipe 1500, which will do 1500 @ 1 ohm if i remember right. But that is kind of pushing it, those subs are only rated for 400 rms each. And if you port it, i dont think theyll last long on that much power. You could turn the gains down tho.

Otherwise just look for something you like and ask if its a decent amp i guess. Look for arond 800 rms @ 1 ohm is your best bet for a good price.
