What amp should I get? I'm a rookie...

So, I have two Alpine SWE-1043 10's mounted in a sealed box. Their RMS is 100-250 watts... I had a Kicker zx750.1 pushing them, but I bought the kicker used and it blew. Looking for another amp. What do you guys recommend? I thought the kicker sounded great. Is 750 watts the correct wattage to push my subs? I know there are some really nice brand name amps out there but I just can't afford it. I want something decent but not overpriced.

Your not the only one man, this economy *****! lol no but just look in the classifeds your bound to find something that suits your budget and will move you're subs pretty decent

The Alpines are single 4 ohm so if you get a mono amp you're going to need something that does 500 watts rms @ 2 ohms. Because you'll be wiring them parallel into the amp (like you did with the Kicker) and getting a 2 ohm load. You can always go a little bigger or little smaller. You could get a 2 channel as well but it would be a class a/b and be harder on your electrical. An amp in that range is very affordable. 100-150 bucks new.
