buy it. just the materials that went into making the amp cost more than 10 bucks. use it to make something stupid.... like a subwoofer backpack.

That particular amp likely does not have more than 1W per dollar you would spend. The transformers on the inside are only one or two on each that power transfers about 5 watts total each. You are getting about a 20W amplifier at most. Would work for a computer system if you take the chip out and rewire it for 120V.

I have seen the rockwoods opened up and the chipset on the inside is about a third of the area in the amp. It likely is built the same way. If not, then you made out well.

SO for 10 bucks......go for it. Not bad if it was not fried.

Actually, I take that back. The mocked rockwood looks like the kenwood logo. THis one has the actual rockwood logo. Might be a "better than I thought" deal. DO IT

Not too sure about an amp when the company cant spell "detonator" right. But it's only 10 bucks. Who cares, try it out
