For one, that is not OLD SCHOOL RF. It is probably about 2001-2003

I am almost sure that is a 1500bd since you said it was a MONO amp.

Probably draws around 150A

The 1501bd came with the center plastic part being blue. So if it says 1500 on the bottom and it is mono, then it is a 1500bd

If it is a mono channel amp and it says 1500 watts it is a 501BD - from 2003.

If you have the serial number off of the amp I can confirm that for you...let me know.

Because I know those ones from 03 said like 3 times the rms on the top right? A friend of mine had like an 801S and it said 2400W for some stupid reason. Might as well have said pyramid on the top also.

That amp in the pic looks way to big to be a 501bd

lol. I like how after you put MAX WATTAGE you put a confused face, because I was confused when I saw that RF started putting that on the new amps. I had an Power 800.2 and was sad to see them "following the crowd" when they came out with the newer ones.
