the orion if not properlly given ventalation room will heat up....mine did at 1 ohm but it had crap for breathing space.....

what's so hard about 1200 watts rms at 2-4 ohms? all the birthsheets i have seen has it rated at over 1400 watts rms. mine was benched at 1494 watts rms @ 4 ohms. used they go for under $300.

X3, I just bought one from that same company and I will put it on a 12w7. If I were you, I would just drop the extra cash and get the Xenon because you never know when you might want to switch up your subs, so why buy a different amp if you do decide to switch up? Just my personal exp. that you might as well save up your loot and get what you want rather than settling for something you can get asap and end up paying for something else down the road. I have been through quite a few budget setups and with the money I dropped on those, I really could have gotten 2 12w7s and some other stuff.
