What all do I need to check??

Ok so I was on my way home from school today and turned up my pioneer to the normal limit but there was no bass. The odd thing is that when I felt the sub it was moving just a little bit, it wasnt moving to the point of being visible but I could definitely tell it was gettin something. Can the subs be blown?? I didnt think it would be this because both of them do the same thing and stopped working at the same time. Ive already checked my rca's and they are hooked in the amp and HU fine. The amp isnt in protect and the green light is on so it cant be the remote wire correct?? What all do I need to check? Could the HU be the problem?

Thanks

Richie

i had almost the same issue with my subs one time and i found out that one of the wires had come disconntected from the voice coil on the sub, hooked it back up and was bumbing again.

Well I took the subs out and everything inside the box was hooked up like its suppose to be so I just put them back in. I didnt think anything would be different but I turned it on to see anyway and at first it didnt work but then like every few seconds it would come on just for a short time. I left it on for a minute and then it started working like it use to. If I hooked up a DMM like I was going to set my gains and the voltage goes down to 0 that would mean it would have to be either the HU or the amp correct??

dear lord, i'm relatively big&tall as the case goes, and couldn't stand being that close. does your truck have an airbag? If so, be careful not to hit anything (duh). my mom is a nurse and always tells me about things like this. from your pic in the avitar thatlooks like one sweet truck.

Well today when I got home I took the subs out again and the connector on the inside of the terminal cup was all corroded and the plastic on it was melted. So I put a new connector on it and its been working fine ever since so I guess that was the problem. Thanks for the help
