I went from 4 18s to 2, sorry I asked for advice. Nice to see you guys not being supoortive because people have more oppurtinities than you. Some have been really supportive and I thank them. But frankly, I dont give a shit if you think it will happen or not, its my choice but I am glad to see you guys have lifes that consist of not just coming on a forum and knocking a kid for trying oh wait, you have no life thats right.

if your new and wana learn you dont go for a $20k amp and 4 mt's you get 2 regular subs an amp and some decent speakers and work with that..your wernt even responsable enough to find out how much the amp was,you thought the mt'd where $1500 come on man you dont need to be near any 300amp alts or 8 orion 2500 amps..lol im not insulting you,just tell you what those guys who are gona help you install the stuff should have,but they just wont cause they just wana see and hear the stuff..you wana learn keep it simple..start with 2 type r's or something thats gona cost you less then $150 a sub and get a amp and some speakers like i said man..then try some different types of boxes..just cause you get the most expensive stuff out there wont mean you'll be wangin..thats free advice..take it for what its worth..

If you wanna do it then do it. Just make sure you do your research beforehand. I started out with 10W0's with 200 watts to them. Then went to 10Wgti's with 3k total watts. Now I run 2 18" MT's with ~4k watts going to each of them on a 16v system. I always get in over my head, but with patience and friends help, it worked out great. It is stupid loud for a daily driver, but Id rather have too mcuh and turn it down than not enough and want more. 2 18 MT's will be plenty for you...ask the DFW guys how loud mine is...they will explain Good luck and if you need help, pm me and I'll try my best!

Thank you for that post, its those kind of guys that I still post in this forum. I am glad somebody with MT experience put his opinon in here. I will probably PMing with questions and greatly apprectiate you being willing to help.
