What about NVX XPLD3k??

I was thinking about getting a NVX XPLD3k,has anyone ever used one before? I watched a dyno video where they got over 4000watts out of it dynamic but is it clean? Right now I have an american bass vfl 120.1 and I'm thinking about the NVX because it's "rated" 3000 watts rms on 14.4v but as I said dynamically it puts out over 4k, whereas the AB vfl 120.2 is rated 2200 watts on 16v. Really just wanted to ask and see if anyone has used one before and what they think about it if they have. It would be pushing a single RE XXX 12" Dual 2 wired to 1 ohm. I may get another sub if the amps worth it since it will put the subwoofers rms power handling of 2k watts to each one. Thanks.

You do know 400 watts at your point is about a .5db gain if that
What I'm gaining is more than 400 watts. The NVX xpld3k is rated 3000@ 14.4b and dynamically puts out just over 4k at 14.4v. I'm running 16v so I'm gonna actually see about a 1500w increase

You will never see the dynamic power. You are not on a test bench or resistor

It puts out 4000w playing music. I just found a video about the amp and watched it and they said quote "so that means your getting just over 4000watts rms playing music at 14.4 volts" unquote. I'll probably see 5k with 16v. If it can take it. The amps peak power is 6k on 14.4, that's the number I'd never see if I ran it on the voltage it was rated at.

I would do an AQ/SQ 3500.
I sure wouldn't pay $700 for that NVX. I highly doubt you will ever get 4k out of it.
Being it's cea 2006 compliant it is supposed to put out at least what it's rated being 3k at 14.4 volts. I'm running 16 volts any other amp it would be at least a 1000 watt gain. It dyno tested really well. It looks like a nice amp. Better than the 120.1 I'm running right now.

But I'll look into the sq/aq thanks

Thats a 4ohm test. Dont say anything about what it can do at 1ohm. It may do what it says but dont expect 1000 over rated.

You should have no issues with NVX. They are one of those “good bang for the buck” companies.
