What a...

Again someone is getting a bit emotional here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I'll remember the name calling when you come back around to claiming Im the one who wont allow us to have an "adult" conversation. lol
As for I want the republicans to not look bad, its funny how in one sentence you claim Im afraid of making republicans look bad, and in another sentence you discuss how I feel both sides are part of the problem.

If anyone here doesnt want to admit something, its the guy who pulled the number "a few billion" out of his posterior region, claims he has no burden to prove it, and continues to ignore facts that have been presented (in the form of lists and links) that prove otherwise. *grin* You know Im not going to drop that point, so the longer you avoid it, the worse your argument is going to look. You fail to realize that if you would just man up and admit your super human common sense doesnt have all the answers, and that *gasp* you have said something erroneous, you might gain some small respect from people reading this. But yo0ur ego wont allow you to admit you are wrong, about anything. *still grinning*
So nothing the fact you completely murdered what I said in your efforts to make a point? Nothing that you so conveniently left you the key phrase in my post? Just more bullshit distraction and petty bullshit? (all while saying I should admit when I said something erroneous)

And it's not that you don't want to make the Republicans look bad, you just don't want to make them look worse that the Democrats, because the Republicans fall more in line with your selfishness. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My selfishness? Im not the one living off the govt dime by getting an education someone else is paying for, while getting uppity that they should still pay even more. Hypocrite. *grin*

Oh, and I haven't forgotten that you are 'moving on' to try and bury the point that myself and others have proven your ass-pulled figure of a "few billion" is erroneous, and that you are a small petty person for avoiding that fallacy you are trying to create here. Keep avoiding it, I wont forget.

Flat out lies (like you never said 90%), dodging points you cant tackle because you have realized you were wrong (facts proving your few billion number is BS), name calling... this is the only type of debate options you have here, and it is not going unnoticed.

Want to lie to us some more? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Get ready everyone. Even MORE arguing about what I said.

There is a difference between what I think is right and what I suggest we actually go back to. Do I think it would be "moral"? Absolutely. No one needs to make over a million dollars a year when there are homeless people on the streets and kids going without food. But even I think 90% tax rates is crazy. But nowhere did I suggest we go back to it, like you said I did. Unfortunately, I'm sure this is too subtle a point for you to comprehend.

Either way, certainly not 90% of anything over a "middle class" salary, like you just said I did. Will you fess up to that lie?

I've yet to actually have the time to add up all your sources. Don't you worry.

I hope you don't forget about this though. Feel free to apologize and tell me that I'm right about Republicans wanting to put zero burden on the rich to get us out of the debt crisis that has benefited them so much.

This is just more complete, unequivocal bullshit and lies from you. Never once have I said were should go back to the 90% tax rates we once had, and certainly not on only what surpasses the a middle class income.
And, another shining example now, of arguing over what I have said.

You must think you are just such a genius that you can spin your way out of any lie or made-up number you claim. Lets look, again, at what you said...

Then that is where we disagree.
(Although you're using an extreme example, obviously 99% percent of all wages wouldn't be "right", but 90% of all income over a million dollars? **** yes)
So let me spell this out for you. You said "Never once have I said were should go back to the 90% tax rates we once had, and certainly not on only what surpasses the a middle class income."

"Never once", right bro? Notice the "and" in that statement. You say you 'never once' said 90%, AND certainly not above middle class. And. I guess you need to take an English class too, not just that econ class. You, in this thread, claimed you never once said it, "and" certainly not above middle class. You did say it, and added the "and" at the end to emphasize that you aren't looking to keep everyone at a close wealth level. You did say it, the quote is there for everyone here to read.

You think if you make your argument so complex, none of us can match your intellect enough to sift through it and present the lies, opinions presented as facts, and flat-out mistakes. Well guess what... I can, do, and have.

As for arguing over what you've said, duh? Go take a debate class and try that argument, that its somehow unfair to discuss what you've said. See how quickly you get an F and are laughed out of the classroom. All we have here are our words, so if you think you have any argument that Im somehow being unfair for discussing what you say, you are just being dense.

I hope you don't forget about this though. Feel free to apologize and tell me that I'm right about Republicans wanting to put zero burden on the rich to get us out of the debt crisis that has benefited them so much.
Forget? Hardly. Just like I wont forget you are STILL avoiding the "few billion" point by trying to move the discussion on without addressing it. But to avoid your inevitable accusation that Im 'scared' to address your latest ruse to move the discussion on without addressing a point you refuse to admit you were wrong about, I didnt murder anything. Every time Ive quoted you here, the quote provides a link to the full reply. If people think I took your words out of context, they are free to go back and look at your reply in its entirety. Nice try bro.

You have lied about "never" saying 90% tax rates are fair, you avoid the "few billion" point that proves you have no facts to back up your opinions, and you try to claim that discussing what you have said *gasp* is somehow unfair of me. It would take a real moron reading this to not see what a complete clusterfuck your stance, and tactics, have become.

is it really so scary to simply say "you are right, i guess I did say that, my bad"...? Apparently it is. Pity, you have mine.

Oh, and from experience, I can tell you how this is going to go. You will soon drop out of this convo, without addressing the points Ive shown you to be scared of, only to come back a month from now, start all over with your same lies, made-up numbers, and opinions you claim as facts, hoping nobody remembers this discussion well enough, or is unable to find it via the search function. You are pathetic, you really are.

I dont mind people with different opinions than me. I think differing opinions make for a well-rounded policy, when both sides are addressed honestly. What I do mind is intellectual dishonesty like you display here, time and time again. You dont address both sides honestly, you present your side, and then lie, spin and attempt to confuse in order to belittle opposing views.

LOL this is almost funny...I do not see anywhere audioholic lied ...proxy was trying to convince us all a while backthat a tax rate and revenue were the same thing and actually tried saying 90% was a good thing...simple fact there is even with higher tax rates tax revenues were lower vs GDP and simple reality that gets left out of left wing nut jobs reality is taxes DO effect spending and when people spend less the economy shrinks. IMO that is the obvious goal...

I may be wrong sometimes, and oh yes I am plenty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif, but I dont lie. Its the same old crap from Prox, if accused of something, he tries his best to turn it around on the other guy. Like Ive said before, his biggest error in all these discussions, is he's allows himself to tie up his ego in them. This becomes a burden on his back that he falls victim to in the form of trying to manipulate the convo to make himself look artificially smart/right/moral.

Prox, the tax rate.

What percentage of income should the federal government take from its citizens?

This is now the third time I have asked this question and you still have no answer.
