What 8" subs should i get?

RLi's "production problem" is TC Sounds/Audiopulse and SS parting ways. Since TC/AP made the RLi8 for SS, production and availability stopped at that time. And while SS vaguely suggests the line will be back, it wont be. It hasn't been available new for like 2 years now. Nobody hold their breath for this sub to ever be made again.

Four Kicker S8L7's (or any of the other Kicker 8's)

I was just trying to show them to you, man. Besides, you can buy directly from SoundSplinter's official site. It's down at the moment, though. The prices on soundsplinter.com are a little less than SSA's too.

why do the rli8's look alot like the sundown sa8's?

is it the same basket?

as for the OP, i would just do 2 sa8's. From what i've seen they are crazy 8's and you might get enough output from just 2.

It's a standard 12 spoke basket, bro. Hundreds of subs have them.

I have two s8s and they get pretty goddamn loud. I have them in 1.6 tuned to 30. Dont let anyone tell you 8s cant get low. Flexes the whole car too. I think you would be happy with them. Hell im putting about 600 to each and they dont break a sweat.

Edit: You might look into 4 e8s if you wanna go with four/ half the magnet. Still pretty lout and rated for 200. they take 400 np. can be had for under 100 ea

only thing im afraid of is not being able to feel the bass the way i felt it with my single soundstream 12 off 500wrms.

i had e8's and sold them like an *******. i kind of regret selling them now cause i got them from woofercooker.
