We don't know that for sure heh my brothers car has a stock 120a alternator and 900ca battery and it ran his zx2500 all day with no problem he just added and extra 900ca batt and had barely any dimming. The 2 ohm load is what saves you the most. But I agree a nice big battery will do wonders, but will never substitute for an alternator.

Are you going for SQ, SQL, SPL? For 2500w you're going to need a lot of power handling and something small to fit in the car with a good box. I'd go a single 12 or 15 thats 2500rms and go from there.

zcon or nightshade will take 2500 all day... so will an atomic ele or an aq hdc3 or hdc4

And I'd be using it for daily driving. Not any comps or anything except with my friends lol. But I would like to have the loudest setup possible on 1 15 for my money.

hdc4 I believe is 450, zcon is about the same, ele will prolly be 400 depending on how you want it built, and the hdc3 will be about 300 with the copper coils...
