What 12 or 15 inch sub should i get for a sealed box?

My wife wont let me fill up the whole trunk with a ported box....My amp Is 2400 watts @ 1ohm. What sub would work well in a sealed enclosure sound good but mostly give good spl? I can spend 3 to 400 bucks on the sub. Thanks guys for your time!

AA havoc or SSA xcon if you want to go all out and have the best of both worlds, these 2 work well in sealed and ported. or if your on a budget soundqubed hds3 line, very good sub. or if you are on a super budget, kicker cvr. I own 4 of those and been giving them hell since 2013 and are still going strong

I'd maybe try to squeeze 2 10s into the space first. But if you must go sealed a JL13W7 would sound great if you can find one relatively cheap.

I don't know why anyone would get a jlw7 13 when there are subs half or even less than half the price that out perform it in everyway. like ive said before, your paying 80 % for the JL name, and 20% for the quality of the sub

HST11 11″ Subwoofer | Stereo Integrity ..... the normal12in version is only like 30 bucks more...

I guess what I don't understand is why the shipping charge on a $1500, 145lb, 24" driver is $5. What's the point?

Just to clear things up....The V3 mags were discontinued. Their original price was much more reasonable the short time they were sold. If I recall they were being cleared out for somewhere in the low $100s before they went out of stock. It ***** Nick is taking a step away from car audio. jl w7 line is alright, but price to performance wise you have so much options out there. ascendant havoc, ssa xcon, fi Q, hds3
