Guy came in the ReStore where I "work" this week and after a long and painful discourse it was determined that he believes a full 70% of the populace will be... Ya know and go...
And he meant worldwide.... btw... did you see the painful looks on Trumps medical advisers faces when he announced a Easter economy recovery. Here in my locale it's on again-off again with people overreacting and blowing up yet going out.
Almost seems like fast food takeout will be the ultimate winner... and then reality hits.

If this thing gains resistance to whatever treatment they come up with it'll affect younger and younger patients as it becomes stronger. Covid-19... sure... add a few years (or exposures) ... we'll see where it ends-up. Kung-Fu-Fuckyu... sounds about right given all the online opinions.

Been here since 72', so, yes I know plenty of locals. If you don't work on the Strip, then, you don't go to the Strip. Possibly, if company is in town, that's it. Yuma *****, Douglass *****, Sierra Vista *****, Tucson *****, Phoenix *****, Coolidge is brutal, Florence is brutal, Wickenburg and Wikeup don't even rate. Mesa, Tempe, and Scottsdale are decent. Basically, golf courses surrounded by people.

Vegas strip?.. who cares?... I've never spent a dime on the strip to be honest. Those Dennys 2-4mi from the strip always get my funds anyways. Real Las Vegas salutes you and begs your continued investment I'm sure... but your expenditures are best felt at the local level I'd think. Fk Casinos and their Bs imo... I'd rather blow a grand on Hookers and blow than spend a dime in 'Legit" gaming.
And I don't/can't party anymore medically.... lol

Pizza delivery is still happening so you would think money wouldn't be as much of an issue for drivers, what with being tipped employees. However, as more people are being stuck at home and not making paychecks, people are running low on funds and not ordering pizza as much. Now it is finally hitting my brother and myself. Where I would normally make $80-$100 a day in tips has dropped to $30-$40 a day. Couple that with being sent home early due to a lack of business and now our paychecks will be weak as well.

They have said that now that this bill is going through, they will give us $1,200. While that is all well and good, I don't see it helping much... kind of like keeping your mouth just above water. The news has said that if the Government has your information from taxes (direct deposit information) then your check could be deposited in your bank as fast as 3 weeks from now. If they have to mail you a paper check, it could take up to 4 months for you to get your relief.

Yeah, $1200 is stupid. Just cut my taxes for 6 months instead, including for small businesses. It'll help them stay open and provide more help than the money wasted just distributing the checks

One check. Supposedly $600 max per week from the federal gov't + local state unemployment benefits. Only something like $2k per month less than my regular salary, why work? Pretty excessive.

Mostly happy about the no student loan payments for 6 months, if it happens. That's $3k saved considering I pay $600/mo in student loans.

My family has been into cars since cars where invented. My dad, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa have always had badass hotrods. They've all worked on or built cars for a living at some point in there life.

Stay at home order in houston looks like any other day lol.. Every place is still open and working except no dine in.

Guns finally have stopped especially my 3 purchases since delays on nics are stopped till april 15th.

My job does not plan to close anytime soon, and mayor made it clear we will not go into lockdown.
