were ED subs made by ID in 2004?

I just got an email since i am on the mailing list for ED, and they said they just received a shipment of 2004 ED kv2. subs that they has assumed was never coming. They said they are a great price, and only have a limited number. Is this a response to the ID oem subs on ebay? Any ideas?

they are 13kv.2's which are the id buildhouse subs and for $50 + shipping each its quite a bargain. these have a 1 year warranty as opposed to the id's 90 day.
