Well, the manager could've easily handled this better. You can't tell a paying customer, "If you want it so bad, go and drive 3 hours to get it." That's just bad business. Though a lot of business owners have that mentality that they don't need their customers or some ish.

i'd be inclined to bust him in the mouth if i paid him and he said some shit like that

I've been on both sides of the fence and I often like to play devil's advocate, just because it works both ways... when a shop screws over a customer, it gets more attention than anything else, but when a customer threatens, aggravates ,or just plain being an arsehole to the business owner over reasons out of his hands, it causes a chain reaction or domino effect on future customers. Seriously, how do we know if the OP suddenly become inpatient after he was informed and been told that he had to wait? What if he threaten the shop owner beforehand? This is why I'm asking for details.

if your shit isnt there soon go back with the cops and tell him that his policy of no refunds is only vaild on items you have received

he could throw something back in your face saying that it was a special order item. either way though you arent returning anything you are just getting your $ back from something he never provided.

honestly id say fuck getting the subs just get the law involved if hes had over a month now. not sure what it would be considered but it would be some form of retail theft on him.

it is a civil case. the cops will not get involved for fear of the city being sued. i would file case in small claimes court. just about the only legal recourse.
