well it looks like ED is copying kicker now

thats because square speakers put out square sound waves //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

You know, Radio Shack and Optimus was pretty much same as Sony in a lot of things. We had a realistic TV that started smoking, and when the tech guy took it apart, it said SONY on the board, speakers, and a couple other things as well.

wrong. The **** shack had a standing deal with motorola and pioneer for years as OEM makers of their junk.

:eagerly waits an explanation: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Meh, I forgot the exact reason why, read it probably about 2 years ago.But I remember when some imitation subs came out, a point was brought up about the design of the surround (and the ribs actually having some usefull purpose, not just looks).

Here's an idea, ask kicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Edit: Either way, I'd love to hear the explanation of why it would be a "no no" in the first place.............

that too, but I am telling you, in our realistic TV, I saw Sony on 4 parts, maybe more, but I remember the 2 speakers, the board, and the tube.

Doesnt matter tho, the TV broke in 8 months.

for noob reference, sony made the first square woofer in the mid 80's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

But I could be wrong.
