There were a lot of reasons for Adire closing down. They didn't close down because of issues that were driver related. I won't say anything on here though - you guys will have to see if you can track down Dan to tell you.

We used to sell the Realistic version of that speaker at Radio Shack in the mid 80's, bought a set to use the woofers in the door of an 84 Civic.

Sounded good too, but they rotted easily from the moisture.

You know, Radio Shack and Optimus was pretty much same as Sony in a lot of things. We had a realistic TV that started smoking, and when the tech guy took it apart, it said SONY on the board, speakers, and a couple other things as well.
