well blew the box already

well i built this box about two months ago haven't really cranked on to much, tonight i did

and i blew the inside port wall out

heres the box build pics i will get pics of the damage this weekend when i get time to get it out of the truck

oh and i am going to try and build this weekend so if anybody has any ideas for a box let me know if not then i just rebuild this one and not wait to reinforce it.

only thing I can see being the issue is that the port wall wasn't clamped tight enough during drying (due to clamp placement) or wasn't glued enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

well i screwed it together also

so who knows, I knew i needed to get some bracing in it i was going to add threaded rod this weekend but oh well not soon enough

yup. good luck seperating properly glue'd joints.

you must of missed a spot of glue, or the two pieces just were not snug enough against each other to create a good bond.

x2 when properly done you couldn't get the wood apart if you tried, you would break the wood before you broke the bond.

Crappy glue job + no bracing = box goes BOOM!!!
