are you talking bass boost or gain control? i have a gain control and its awesome. whenever i dont feel like listening to it really loud, i just turn down the gain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the way it works, is when the knob is all the way up, its at the setting on your amp. If my gain setting on my amp is lets say 4/7, then the MAX i can go up to using the knob would be 4. if I wanted to go up to 7, i'd have to adjust my gain on my amp.

So pretty much, wherever your gain is on your amp, is the max you can go with your gain control knob

You don't have to set it with a meter, and even if you did it's not too hard to remember where the knob is set.

I've got the Kicker SXRC and I love this thing, I can adjust gain, HP and LP filters, crossover slope, basically anything you can adjust on an amp plus some stuff that you'll likely never need to. It'll also show me how the amp is doing, temperature, voltage if there are any error codes or protects. Then to top it off I can save the settings so all I have to do is push a button and it'll adjust to where I want it.

How easy was it to get a system into your Sentra? I've got an 05 1.8S that I'm debating if I want to throw some stuff in it.
