thats why we disconnect the battery:naughty:ive done all welding but tig. we onw a few mig welders and stick welders..but i have no need to tearn tig because the profession im going into doesnt require it. all automotive collision repair centers a required to use mig welding according to manufaturers specs. plus if you use tig, it puts out a higher current, and usually results in frying every computer in the vehicle
i tig on cars all the time, never an issue yet. it's usually on honda's because some dumbass broke off a bolt hole in the aluminum intake and need the hole filled in so they can drill and put a helicoil in it
