ive done all welding but tig. we onw a few mig welders and stick welders..but i have no need to tearn tig because the profession im going into doesnt require it. all automotive collision repair centers a required to use mig welding according to manufaturers specs. plus if you use tig, it puts out a higher current, and usually results in frying every computer in the vehicle

thats why we disconnect the battery:naughty:

i tig on cars all the time, never an issue yet. it's usually on honda's because some dumbass broke off a bolt hole in the aluminum intake and need the hole filled in so they can drill and put a helicoil in it

maybe its different for motor/drivetrain than body. techs blow out $1000 computers all the time at our shop..but thats body/frame during repair.

Blow yourself up or burn yourself beyond recognition is what I was trying to state --

I don't know why I am continuing to waste time on you... but, here goes...

1)- I am a woman, not a guy.

2)- I will out-weld your little punk *** any day, any time tits and all, youn-un!

3)- I understand your from Utah but that doesnt mean you have to act like a dumbass like the rest of the stupid people down there. (I have worked there--EVERYONE I MET is a complete and utter moron-- funny, all you have to do is add an m and it's mormon!) You have a choice...it's called education! Try it sometime!

4)- 160 PSI pressure test on a 6", 8" or 10" pressurized water line/mainifold is NOT beyond reason when the standard op pressure is set on a 60-80 cycle. Double the max pressure = 160 pounds.

5)- Dont come in here thinking you know everything when the majority of your posts are asking questions... like "what are the answers to the test I have tommorrow," or "what does out of phase mean?"

Respect the forum, respect your elders, and for GOD'S SAKE! don't make o6'ers look any bad then they already are!

6)- you have NO Adult Work LIFE EXPERIENCE! so STFU!

im not cheating. The teacher gave us a study sheet with similiar questions that would be on the test to help us out.

And thanks to slp and pitbull and others I studied on some of the answers they left and I passed. Thanks a lot again guys

Hows your face? I sent snugglls out late last night to eat it. He's easily distracted by small children and churros though, so he might not make it there. Ive got to get a more reliable 160lb beast kitten.

You really should do the research yourself, this is a lot of information. Welding is pretty cool and researching just might give you a chance to learn how to do it.
