weird but loud box design! help me heard bout it cant find.

im sorry but if you didnt know what it was your not going to be successful building it, and your going to waste your money.
^^^ +1

he's a lil more brash then me, lol... but thats what i was kinda pushing towards bro. you definately need to hear different types of enclosures before deciding on one... like i said, sound is very subjective... so NEVER go on word of mouth

i wanna do it! im thinking senior project;) dont worry i probably wont im just excited...but it would show up those cocky boned sony xplod teenagers...
honestly, you wouldnt have to go with an 18 to do that... a properly built enclosure for a nice pair of 12's or single 15 could walk them EASILY

he's saying that it was a single 12 in the t line "hitting harder" then 4 10's ... so i'm guessing the "builder" he was talking to, had NOOOOOO idea of what he was doing
obviously.. the builder didn't even know what a T-line was

Your basing your wants on one guys most likely incorrect information. Build a quality normal ported box and you'll be set. If that design ^ was actually good, people would use it a lot more.
T-lines are excellent designs so good try.. the reason more people don't try them is they spend more money and get as many subs as they can fit and a t-line generally takes a lot of space to make it right

kyle said it perfect... t-lines arent for the faint of heart... but if you can build it properly, their OOOO so good

You posted an image of a ported box.. lots of little 10" enclosures look like that.

If you want an optimal enclosure, I would be happy to do a design for you or answer any questions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For what its worth, not every kind of tline takes an insane amount of space. The HDC18 tline I did was tapered and took about normal gross space, and had better sensitivity than a comparable vented enclosure. Last I talked to the owner hes kept it at 4ohms because it has such good output.

and just to be a god damn book on that shelf in your avi
