website that'll teach me how to install an H.U.??

or u can always get a wiring harness and then plug that into the stock adapter, and the wires tell u wat they are, eg front speaker - and front speaker + hehe

id much rather rely on my brain then a tool to do the work....incase i need to know how to do another install for my friend or family member.....but thats a good idea though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

great info on those sites gents:)

THX ALOT!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i did it the hard way, i bought the harness after i had a friend wire my deck, he did such a sh*tty job... he wired my power antena to one of my rear speaker and my frontright speaker to the rear right speaker... took me a good 2 hours in the dark to somewhat correct his f*ck up. wish i could find my old deck harness

Hmm.. I put my buddy's pioneer deck in his civic, talk about a pain in the ***. I tried to put one in my sister's Honda Passport, I couldn't get the dash apart.. I'll admit it. I don't understand the way Honda puts their shit together, seriously. Anyone else have this problem?

I find Honda's are some of the easiest vehicles to install into //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Other than the fact that they're so small up front ...

ok.. http://www.installdr.com

Steve, you're correct in saying the Honda Passport is incredibly easy. As I read how to do it from that page, you take out the ash tray, take out 1 screw, and pull the deck out. ROFL! I took out the glove box, dash panel.. oh man.

However, the civic is really difficult.. especially if you're doing it without instructions. That site really rocks, take a look at it if you haven't already peoples.

Eh, I guess if you do enough of them it becomes easy.

The 1996-1998 Civic's arent too bad - but I see your point ... not having instructions your first time around wouldn't be a good plan.
