Yeah. I have heard shit about DUAL being bad and all... But seriously? I just bought some sony 6"1/2" speakers, and the bass on them is as powerfull as the bass on my 600w rms subs... Why? Does DUAL just **** that bad? Did I waste my money? Do I just need a new amp? New speakers?

Also for the REM I plugged it into the blue slot on the wiring harness, and it only comes on with the radio. Should I change it to the red wire?

Why are you putting bass in your door speakers???//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

FAIL

Umm.. you only want your amp to turn on when the headunit turns on. Why would you want it on at any other point?

Are you sure your subs are not wired out of phase? How are your gains set on the amp? How did you set your crossovers?

All speakers play highs, lows and mids... You get bass from your "door" speakers. Or should I turn the low all the way down and the highs and mids up?

I adjusted the amp more, and got MUCH loader sound. Still not what I want, but for now I have no money for a new amp.

I plugged the REM into the red wire, and now it turns on with Front in and radio.

I have DUAL 12in Bandpass subs, Since they are bandpass should I expect it to not be as loud?

The subs are 600w RMS, and the amp is 280 RMS bridged. They are in bridged mode, Am I right in assuming my problem is with the amp?

One last thing. I was playing it for a while with the car turned off, and everything cut out at volume- 27... Was that cause it was causing to much drain on my battery without it being charged? I got some new Sony speakers These to be exact They get distorted at about 24. Any reason why.

because sony speakers ****. turn your bass on the stereo at 0 and adjust the subs for bass. with those subs and that amp, just crank the gain up and eff it. as long as you are satisfied for the time being then whatever. its not expensive equipment so save up some money for good substage equip and use these while your at it.

Right now I have the amp completely maxed out. This will basically kill it faster? I got it on sale for 30$ so I don't really give a shit. Does DUAL make shitty subs as well? Will I need to get a new amp and subs in the end?

get a whole new setup.........New subs..........New amp...........New Box

dont get dual they ****........

if u want something cheap

Get 2 12 inch Kicker Comps in a 3 cf ported box tuned to 36 hz

and push around 400 rms and that will be a way better setup
