Speakers outside of car cabin? (Heard it today?)

Ok..One of the negro football players on campus drives a nice Dodge Magnum with 20" rims, blacked out windows (legal limit is 35% here), nice paint job, etc..

For some reason he deems it appropriate to have some form of speakers that blast music OUTSIDE of his car..It appears the music comes from his grill area.. It is fairly loud, not clear at all. Kind of sounds like a PA system.. What the hell? Anyone else ever seen this? How do you manage to put speakers outside your car?

I can see the application for tailgating, party, etc.

I have actually had people come in the shop wanting them installed.

Guys bring horns in here from time to time to be installed...lawl.

I duct taped a roadmaster speakerbox to my roof once... had it running off an amp but I wouldnt go driving around with it on... I had painted flames on the side of it and took the shocks off.... I could hit the brakes on and off and get it to bounce the front and back off the ground in a rocking motion... ghetto hydrolics... I Got soooo many looks in that thing... I kinda miss it.

i just got done installing 2 marine speakers in the toolbox of my friends truck, theyre running off a 2 channel amp that can be switched on and off. i have to say it is perfect for tailgaiting and bonfires. i cant imagine anyone thats a big enough dipshit to install speakers on the outside just for driving though.
